We recognize that ease in requesting and obtaining Insurance Identification Cards is important. ID cards must typically be presented each time an insured receives medical, dental and pharmacy services. Whether you and your employees are enrolled in a PA Chamber Insurance sponsored medical plan, another carrier’s medical plan, and/or dental, vision and prescription plans, each will receive ID cards at his or her home address several weeks after the enrollment application(s) has been submitted. Prescription Cards Each employee enrolled in a Highmark Blue Shield health insurance plan will see the pharmacy emblem and a Medco Health group number on their Highmark Blue Shield ID cards. Please present your health ID card to the pharmacy when filling or refilling prescriptions. New or Replacement/Duplicate ID Card Requests To request new identification cards, you will need to contact the insurance carriers providing the coverage (see Contact Carrier).
